1. Who we are

mizohlabu.com is a Mizo lyrics platform operated by Arsi Consultancy (India). If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at contact@arsi.in.

2. What we collect

• Google account information — when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. This is provided by Google OAuth and is used solely to create and identify your account on mizohlabu.com.
• User-generated content — lyrics, comments, digital hlabu (lyric books), and any other content you submit to the platform.
• Interaction data — lyrics you like, favourite, or view, and comments you post or reply to. This data powers personalised features such as your favourites list and like counts.
• Usage data — approximate view counts per lyric (using an anonymised daily hash of your IP address and browser fingerprint so the same visitor is not counted twice in a day). No personal profile is built from this data.
• Session cookie — a single encrypted session cookie is set after you log in to keep you authenticated across page visits.

3. How we use your information

• To authenticate you and maintain your session.
• To enable platform features: saving favourites, recording likes, displaying comments, and showing your public profile on contributed content.
• To display your name and avatar on content you contribute.
• To calculate contributor badges and leaderboard rankings based on the number of published lyrics you have contributed.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing or analytics purposes.

4. Third-party services

Sign-in is handled via Google OAuth 2.0. Your use of Google's sign-in service is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We only receive the account information Google provides at the moment of sign-in and do not request any other Google account permissions.

We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or analytics services at this time. If advertising is introduced in the future this policy will be updated before any such change takes effect.

5. Cookies

We use a single first-party session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party cookies are set. You can clear this cookie at any time through your browser settings, which will log you out of mizohlabu.com.

6. Data retention and your rights

• Your lyrics, comments, and other content remain on the platform until you choose to delete them. You can delete your content at any time from your account dashboard.
• To request full account deletion (including profile data), email us at contact@arsi.in. We will process the request within 30 days.
• You may also request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by emailing the same address.

7. Children

mizohlabu.com is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete the account promptly.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encrypted sessions, HTTPS, CSRF protection) to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; please keep your Google account credentials safe.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
